New Wonderful Shabby Chic Cottage Art

My strong and sturdy frames are hand crafted with pine. I hand paint these frames with a colored base coat and add a top coat of white. I rubbed back the white paint and scraped to show the underlying color and wood. I sealed the frames with a non yellowing varnish. All materials are superior quality and tested. Sometimes you have to push the aging process to get the desired effects of shabby chic. My frames are simply shabby cottage chic and my art fits the frames decor beautifully.Outstanding framed art for the lavishly cottage shabby chic decor.

Shabby Chic Framed Cottage Art Thistles and Lace
A hand painted well-worn shabby chic 3" pine frame surrounds a 6" panel of colorful thistles lace and cornflowers. I used acrylic paints for my original artwork and latex paints on the frame. I craft my own frames. This frame is painted with a dark green base then a white latex paint is applied over the green then distressed. The overall size is 12" square and is ready to hang with a sawtooth hanger.
