New Keepsake Box is here.
A new keepsake box has been added to my shop at Etsy BetweenTheWeeds. Hand painted with soft muted colors and some of my absolute favorite shades of blue greens and creams and sage greens. They are what I like to call my comfort colors. On the top of a lift off lid is a birds nest with four very personable hatching's. A ribbon floats through the nest and can be personalized or left alone. Add a message or the baby's name date and weight at no additional charge. I love this keepsake box because it is versatile and timeless. It is part of a new series of natural history functional art and also part of my Painted Furniture Collection.

Hand Painted Keepsake Box with lift off lid Birds Nest feathers eggs
Hand painted keepsake box with birds nest, feathers, eggs
and a lift off lid. Personalize the nest with Baby's name, date of
birth, weight and length as shown on the ribbon. Or leave it plain just
because you love birdies. Young and old will love this keepsake box. It
is sophisticated enough for a baby to grow up cherishing but does not
scream nursery so you can decorate any home anywhere.
Color palette: soft robin egg blue, blue green, golden brown, muted blue, creams, umber, gold.
Box measures: 9.25" x 11.5" x 5.5"h
The inside is painted a soft bobbin egg blue to compliment the hand painted feathers and eggs on the outside. The bottom is signed and dated by my hand and a note saying this is just for you. I add cork buttons to the bottom. It comes sealed with varnish lacquer and waxed with bees wax.
